The Future of Water: Student Film Competition

There are only two weeks left to enter the  2011 SLIC short-film competition. Entry couldn't be simpler: simply create a short film, no more than 3 minutes long, outling how landscape architects, planners, scientists or managers can deal with issues surrounding the Future of Water.

Be as broad as you like, you might want to look at coastal erosion in 100 years time, current trends in sustainable urban drainage, the changing use of waterways or anything else about the future of water that pops into your head.

Entering couldn't be simpler, simply upload your film to
You Tube under the heading 'Landscape and the Future of Water' and email the link to Steve Cole.

The winner will receive £500 and feature in a range of LI publications, 2 runners up will receive £100. The closing date for entries is the 31st of May 2011. Winner will be announced shortly afterwards.

If you want to get an idea of the sort of films which have been entered in  previous years please see the 'Featured Videos' section
